The core of the documentary's mission is to: recognize the photographic legacy of Abraham Lincoln and his relationship with Council Bluffs, recognize our individual photographic legacies, bring the community closer, recognize our local diverse &amp; individual beauty, create &amp; strengthen the bonds of friends and neighbors, and to document ourselves as we wish to be remembered in this exciting time in Council Bluff's history.<br /><br />The entire working and residential community of Council Bluffs is invited to come out and be photographed at the Union Pacific Railroad Museum on Saturday May 2nd from 1-4 pm as well as on Saturday May 9th from 1-4 pm! There will also be a "photo-booth" in Bayliss Park on Saturday May 9th during a "Taste of Council Bluffs".<br /><br /><span style="font-size:78%;">Metro students will also be offering a series of workshops at the Union Pacific Railroad Museum </span><span style="font-size:78%;">focusing on the art of photography. </span><span style="font-size:78%;">"A Presidential Portrait" &amp; "A Portrait Primer" will be offered both Thursday April 30th and Saturday, May 2nd "Picture Perfect Portraits" &amp; "The Archival Advantage" will be presented May 6th at 6:30 pm and repeated Saturday May 9th at 10 am.
